Come Join the Mavericks to get ready for next year's Track & Field season!

If you are looking to “stay in shape” or “get in shape", then our off-season training program is here for you! There are training programs for both sprinters and distance runners. Work on your running skills, increase your strength and endurance, and have fun with your friends on the Mavericks team as we train together.

Winter Off-Season Training runs from Oct 26 to Dec 17.

Training is held primarily at the Bear Branch Sportsfields (5205 Research Forest Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77381) - meetup at the standalone covered pavilion.

We meet Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

NOTE: we will not meet during Thanksgiving week (Nov 23 and 26)

Location Note: We may meet at different locations occasionally to provide athletes experience training on different terrain, or due to other events scheduled at our training facilities.

The Mavericks Off-Season Training program is designed for athletes in grades 3 to 12.

OFF-SEASON TRAINING (7 weeks, 2 days per week) $105*

* $25 of the registration fees is non-refundable and due up front when registering, and credit/debit card payments do have a small additional fee.

Fees pay for coaches, equipment, Bear Branch park fees, liability insurance, and other misc. expenses

Coach Consultations: Coaches will also be offering the option of weekly one-on-one meetings with athletes discussing their previous weeks' performance, their daily training plan, and goals for the upcoming week. This is a great way for young athletes to learn how to improve in their training week-by-week in a way that is personalized for them to grow in their running skills and techniques. Coach Reagan and Coach Dante will work together with the parents to determine the best time to meet.
