JD Davis

Coach JD began coaching with HHA 3 years ago. He has coached numerous teams and assists where he is needed. As a kid/teen he played all the sports, he loved them and enjoys coaching others and helping them to grow a love for sports as well.
JD has 8 children, his oldest is finishing her first year of college now and helping to design a volleyball organization within Mercy Street in Dallas. She is the one who helped their family to grow a strong love for volleyball and now 3 of their other children play as well.
JD served in the Army for 14 years as a Civil Affairs Sergeant and has had two tours to Iraq in 2004 and 2007. He loves the Lord Jesus Christ and seeks to serve Him in all that he does, serving his family, his church and his community as he can.
JD is excited to serve in his fourth season at HHA and helps with many of the things that helps it to function and go smoothly since he is also husband to the Director Lorie. They love being able to serve together in a sport they both love and that the whole family has grown to love over the years.
