Cross Country season is quickly approaching! The adventure of a lifetime begins Monday July 15th. Practices:

• Practices will be held at Bear Branch Sports Park @ 5205 Research Forest Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77381
• Practices will be held every Mon and Thurs at 6:00 PM.

Meet Schedule:

• The current meet schedule can be found on Athletic.net - Search for Houston Homeschool Athletics and then choose Cross Country and either MS (middle school) or HS (high school).
  • High School XC Meets
  • Middle School XC Meets
• Meets start in mid August and continue through the State Homeschool XC Meet in October
• Houston Mavericks will compete against public, private & home school teams
• Runners that do not want to compete in XC meets or are too young to compete can sign up for "Training Only" but still train with the distance runners.

Meet Events:

• High School Boys will run in a mix of 3200M and 5K races
• High School  Girls will mostly run in 3200M races and a few 5K races
• Middle Schoolers will run in a mix of 1, 1.5, and 2 mile races  

Uniforms:

We have partnered with Adidas for our new uniforms. They have offered us quality uniforms at a discounted price. These unis cost $70 for the set (singlet and shorts). Samples will be available at practice.

Off-Season Track Training:

Here's the perfect opportunity to get in shape, stay in shape, or get stronger as Coach Dante Robinson prepares you for the 2024 track and field season. And you get have some fun with your friends too. Track Training with Coach Dante also starts Mon, July 15th, will be held at Bear Branch Sportsfields, and will be every Mon and Thurs at 6pm!
